Let’s Talk: Our First Coffee Date

Happy Friday All!

Today I’m starting a new series…”Let’s Talk: Coffee Date”. I’ve seen this done on a few other blogs and always find them to be really fun! It gives us a chance to pretend like we’re on a relaxing little coffee date just catching up with life, which is something this stay at home momma needs after taking care of kiddos all day 😉 Let’s get started!MACHINE SHOP.jpg

If we were having a coffee date, these are some of the things I’d ask and here are my answers…

How’s life?

Boy have things been BUSY! Between trying to balance my time between taking care of my kiddos, housewife duties, working for my parents, my blog AND building my business as a health & fitness coach, I find the days are just passing by! The past few weeks have been the hardest to find that balance though and I’ve been feeling a little ragged by the end of the day. In April we’re planning to put Jase in daycare 2 days a week, so I’m hoping that helps. The thing I’m struggling with most is having enough time in the day to do activities with him as often as I’d like…I’m really hoping daycare will help give him what he needs when I can’t.

What’s new?

We’ve been working on building our second garden since it’s just about time for us to plant our spring crops. We haven’t quite decided what we’ll plant just yet, but we’re leaning towards blueberries, bell peppers, tomatoes and I really want to plant sweet potatoes. We also have a few trips coming up that I’m pretty excited about! In March my BFF, her daughter, myself & my kiddos are taking a little road trip to see my mom in Arizona. We’re going to make it a girl’s weekend (plus Jase!) since my hubby will be at the SF Giants Spring Training in Phoenix with the guys!

Anything else going on in your life? Anything I can help you with?

For myself, I’d say I just need more dates like this. Often times I find myself missing conversation with others, especially mommas of young ones, and love when I can get together with a girlfriend to chat and lean on one another. I’m so grateful for the ability to stay home with my kiddos and wouldn’t change it for the world, but a nice relaxing coffee date with a friend is definitely a must 😉

Thank you all so much for going on this virtual coffee date with me! Please let me know your answers to the questions above. Until next time…

XOXO,

~P
